Between training weekends, students complete observation hours, personal practice, independent study, mentorship, and practice teaching to fulfill the 500-hour program requirements.

We recognize that every student's financial situation is different. If needed, the standard payment plan may be divided into smaller installments through an individualized payment agreement. No. While many graduates go on to teach, others join simply because they have a passion for Pilates and want to better understand the method. If you do decide to teach, you'll graduate with the knowledge, confidence, and practical experience to begin your career.

Absolutely. The Lab was intentionally designed with working professionals in mind. In-person training takes place on select weekends, allowing you to continue working while completing the program. Outside of training weekends, you'll complete observation, practice teaching, and self-study at your own pace throughout the program.

Because our program is highly interactive and hands-on, attendance is strongly encouraged. We understand that life happens, and we'll work with you to create a plan to make up missed material whenever possible. Our goal is to ensure every graduate feels confident and fully prepared before completing the program.

Yes. Our Comprehensive Teacher Training covers the full Pilates system, including Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Tower, Chairs, Barrels, and supporting apparatus. You'll develop a deep understanding of the Pilates method while learning how each piece of equipment works together to create well-rounded, effective programming.

Graduating from The Lab earns you a comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training Certificate, demonstrating you've successfully completed our program and met all graduation requirements.
The Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT) credential is a separate, voluntary certification administered by the National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP). After completing an approved comprehensive teacher training program like ours, graduates are eligible to sit for the NCPT exam if they choose.
While the NCPT is not required to teach at many studios, it is a respected national credential that demonstrates a high standard of knowledge and professionalism. We encourage graduates to pursue the NCPT as the next step in their professional journey.
